86-year-old man struck 2 people at Rochester Costco near Westfall Road

Police tells us the driver hit the wrong pedal causing an accident outside the Rochester Costco where two people were hit. Officers were called to the Costco off Westfall Road around 1 p.m. for the crash. Police say an 86-year-old driver was trying to hit the brake while pulling into a parking spot near the front door, but instead hit the accelerator, striking two people. The victims suffered injuries but are expected to survive.

Police are still investigating at this time and no tickets have been issued.
