3 people shot on New Year’s Day in Rochester

Rochester police is investigating multiple shootings that occurred in the city of Rochester on New Year's Day.

Around 5 A.M lots of the police officers responded to 780 Dewey Avenue and Lexington Avenue for report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found one male shot suffering from a serious gunshot wound.

The male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with a serious life-threatening injuries.

Around the same time Rochester police officers also responded to the 300 block Hawley Street for reports of a person shot. As officers arrived on scene, another person showed up a Strong Memorial Hospital buy a private vehicle with a gunshot wound. Rochester police say both victims were shot at the same location on Hawley Street.

There are no suspects in custody for these shootings.
