3 people shot over easter weekend in Rochester

The Rochester Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred overnight leaving three people shot.

 

Around 2:30am Sunday morning the Rochester Police Department was notified of a male who arrived at Rochester General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower body.  The male is being treated at Rochester General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. 

 

Just an hour later, Rochester Police responded to Central Park near Hebard Street and Second Street for a report of a shooting.  When officers arrived on scene, they found no victims.  Officers were told that a victim was taken to Rochester General Hospital.  The victim, a 23-year-old female, was taken by private vehicle.  She is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

 

A second victim arrived at Rochester General Hospital shortly after the female victim.  The second victim, a 28-year-old male was also taken to the hospital via private vehicle.  He is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

 

According to Rochester Police, the female and male victims shot in Central Park were at a house party.  Police confirmed that the house did appear to be hit by gunfire, but the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

 

Anyone with information of either shooting is asked to call 911.
