Animals saved from house fire on Menlo Place in Rochester New York


Around 9:20 PM the Rochester Fire Department responded to Menlo Place in Rochester, New York for a report of a house fire. When firefighters arrived on scene there was smoke coming from home. The fire, which appeared to have started in the family fireplace, was extinguished quickly.

While extinguishing the fire, Rochester Fire Department also rescues 3 cats from the home.

No one was injured in the fire and the cats are expected to survive.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Rochester Fire Department.
