Arrest made in Clifford Avenue homicide leaving 2 other victims injured
The Rochester Police Department announced a second arrest in a homicide case from earlier this month.
On April 12, Easter Sunday, police found one man dead and two men injured after responding to a call of shots fired on Clifford Avenue. During the incident Justin McMillan, 24, was killed.
Police have charged Dvontea Alexander, 27, of Rochester with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon related to that case. He's also facing an additional second-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge after police say they recovered a loaded handgun while executing a search warrant.
Additional charges could be considered by a Monroe County Grand Jury.
