Campbell Street shooting kills one, marks 80th Rochester homicide

On Sunday evening around 7:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Campbell Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found a person had been shot at least once.

The victim was transported from the scene to a local hospital where they have been pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Departments Major Crimes Unit along with the Command van area responding to the scene.

The area will remain closed for the next couple of hours, while the Rochester Police Department conducts their investigation.
