Female staffer dead after reported attack while working at DePaul Addiction Services

Relatives have identified Brittni Iverson, 33 years old was reportedly attacked and died later while working at DePaul Addiction Services Rochester Police say.

Rochester Police officers responded around 4:30 P.M. to DePaul on 435 Dewey Avenue. This is after getting reports of a fight and an assault on a female staff member.

Officers say the people involved in the fight left the scene when they arrived.

Strong Memorial Hospital told Rochester Police that a female DePaul staff member was in critical condition but later died.

DePaul Addiction Services released the following statement:

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear colleague. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends. The safety and well-being of our staff members and residents is always our primary concern. The incident is being investigated by the authorities and we are fully cooperating to ensure that justice is served.”

Monroe county medical examiner office are still trying to determine if her death was caused by the reported assault.

Family, friends and people from the community are expected to gather outside of the location tomorrow at 2 PM. GSL SHOW will be there covering it all.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident.  Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
