Fire destroys home on Clifford Avenue

On Sunday afternoon around 4:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Clifford Avenue for a report of a house fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the first floor of a vacant home located at 2090 Clifford Avenue.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 10 minutes of being on scene.

While firefighters were working the fire on Clifford Avenue, there was a motor vehicle accident that occurred within the 1500 block of Clifford Avenue. Initial report is the crash involved two vehicles with both vehicles colliding with a building.

It is unknown if anyone was injured during the crash.
