Male shot on West Main Street at gas station

On Sunday night just after 9:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the 700 block of West Main Street in Rochester, New York for a report of a person shot. As officer’s were responding to the scene, a 21-year-old male was transported by private vehicle to Strong Hospital. The male had sustained at least one gunshot wound to his body.

The male’s injuries are non-life threatening.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident. No one is in custody.

There does not appear to be any danger to the public, but anyone with information is asked to call 911.
