Man is recovering after being shot on Cameron Street

Rochester police is investigating a shooting that happened on Cameron Street.

Rochester police confirm a man is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital after being shot.

Rochester police receive multiple calls around 7 PM tonight for reports of male that had been shot. It was later learned the male was transported by private vehicle to Strong Memorial Hospital.

He was then treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

There are no suspects in custody, and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
