Mayor Malik Evans declares a state of emergency due to water main break and winter storm expected

Mayor Malik Evans has declared a state of emergency in Rochester New York. It took effective this afternoon due to significant water main break and expected winter storm.

Additionally, the Rochester City School District will remain closed again Friday.

Rain, snow, wind and extreme temps are in the forecast for the rest of the week into the holiday weekend.
