Multiple homes catches fire on Rosedale Street

around 3:30 A.M Rochester Firefighter crews responded to Rosedale Street for reports of a house on fire.


As firefighters arrived on scene there was a large fire coming from a home which also extended to the nearby homes totaling to 3 houses that were affected by this fire.

Smoke filled the nearby neighborhoods, causing neighbors to come outside.


Rochester crews battled this fire for nearly 2 hours using tons of water to get the fire under control.


Everyone who lived inside the home made it out safe with no injuries. A firefighter was injured during this process of putting this fire under control.

Two homes that were affected by this fire are not in the condition to return in and the families affected will be assisted by Red Cross.


The cause of the fire is under investigation.
