One dead in shooting on Dewey Avenue and Magee Avenue also marks 11th homicide of 2021 in Rochester

On Wednesday night around 7:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Dewey Avenue and Magee Avenue in Rochester, New York for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they found a male with a gunshot wound to his head.

The male was transported to Rochester General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

This is still an ongoing active investigation.
