Teenager killed on William Warfield Drive


On Sunday evening just before 7:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Upper Falls Blvd and William Warfield Drive for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, officers found a teenage male lying on the ground unresponsive and not breathing.


The teenage victim was transported to AMR to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Department has requested the command van to respond to the scene along with detectives with the Major Crimes Unit.


The area will be closed to the public for the next couple of hours, so the public is being asked to avoid the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
