2 Alarm Fire in Webster

On Thanksgiving Day Webster Fire Department responded to Loughrea Terrace and Phillips Road in Webster for a report of a structure fire.  When firefighters arrived on scene, they found flames and smoke coming from a barn.  A second alarm was called.

Ontario County, Ridge Culver, and Fairport Fire Departments responded to the scene to provide assistance.  After about 40 minutes the fire was extinguished.

Webster Fire Chief Buoutellier advised that the fire started in a garage that does have an apartment attached to it.  At the time of the fire, the apartment that was attached to the garage was not occupied.

Monroe County Fire Investigators along with the Webster Fire Department are investigating the incident.

No one was injured during the incident.
