Man was beaten

around 9 p.m., officers were called to Kelly Street for the report of another fight with shots fired and a man down.

When they arrived, officers found the victim, a 45-year-old man, hadn't been shot, but rather beaten with an unknown object.

The victim is in serious condition and is being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital. Officers are searching for the suspect at this time.

Police don't believe the three incidents are related.
