Man killed on Backus Street

Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed in Rochester late Monday night. Police state the incident happened on Backus Street around 11:30 p.m. Police say a 43-year-old Rochester man was shot several times. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital for surgery but later died. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
