3 people shot 1 dead in driveby shooting on Thurston Road and Flanders Street

Before 10:30 PM Monday the Rochester Police Department confirms 3 people were shot in a parking lot on Thurston Road and Flanders Street. 39-year-old Bryson Simpson Rochester New York resident was pronounced dead at the scene. The 2 other victims injuries are non-life threatening a 37-year-old woman who was shot and a 20-year-old man was dropped off at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say it was a drive-by shooting, neighbors say they thought it was fireworks because there has been so many over the past months. Police says they are doing an investigation and there are no suspects in custody at this time.

Thurston Road in Flanders Street has re-open to the public.
