Bryan Soto-Velez who was missing found dead on the El Camino Trail

On Friday January 15 around 4:00pm the Rochester Police Department found the body of Bryan Soto-Velez, a 21 year old City of Rochester resident on the El Camino Trail behind 300 Norton Street in the City of Rochester. The circumstances of his death are considered suspicious, but the Rochester Police Department has not released any information surrounding the death.

Soto-Velez was reported missing by his family after they had not heard from him since January 7, 2021. Soto-Velez’s family was concerned since it was not like him to not come home or talk to family members. His family was concerned that he may have been suffering from mental health issues.

The Rochester Police Department has stated that Soto-Velez was last seen alive in the 1200 block of North Clinton Avenue on January 7, 2021 around 8:00pm.
