Male shot in the back of head at Genesee Valley Park

Rochester police are investigating a shooting were one man was shot in the back of the head.

Rochester police were notified around 8:45 PM Saturday that a victim has showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

As police investigated it was then discovered that the shooting happened at Genesee Valley Park.

The victim has non-life-threatening injuries and is in stab condition. The victim was talking to doctors and police during the situation.

There are no suspects in custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
