Male shot late night on Sidney Street

The Rochester Police Department confirmed that before 9:30 P.M. a Rochester male was shot at 80 Sidney Street. Police say two males got into a confrontation that led to shots being fired. The 29-year-old male victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR after being shot in the torso. Two homes were also hit by gunfire.

A possible suspect is being interviewed by police and multiple witnesses are being interviewed as well.

An active investigation is ongoing and more details will be release as the investigation continues.
