Neighbor discovers house fire on Jefferson Avenue

Around 10:29 P.M Sunday night a neighbor discovered a house fire at 101 Jefferson Avenue then call 911. As firefighters arrived on scene they discovered parts of the home and front porch were on fire.

The fire was put out within minutes and did not cause any damage to any surrounding properties.

At the time of the fire three people were in the home but safely escaped.

No one was injured during the fire and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
