Rochester fire truck destroyed in crash on North Chestnut Street

On Tuesday evening around 7:25pm an unoccupied Rochester fire truck that was parking in the median in front of their fire station was struck by a vehicle.
According to the Rochester Police Department a vehicle traveling on North Chestnut Street struck a fire truck that was parked in the median just outside of 185 North Chestnut Street in Rochester, New York. Three occupants of the vehicle were transported to a local hospital, where they are all listed in stable condition.
Officers are investigating the incident to see if alcohol or drugs might have been a factor in the crash.
