Two shot on Herald Street

As officers were responding to the area of Bradford Street, they also received 911 calls for a report of a motor vehicle crash on Herald Street and possibly people shot.
As officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle crashed into a tree and fence. As officers made contact with two males between the ages of 25-40 years of age who were with the vehicle, they noticed that both males had been shot. Both males appeared to have sustained at least one gunshot wound.
The two male victims were transported to a local hospital where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Rochester Police confirmed that through their preliminary investigation the two males were shot in their vehicle in the area of Bradford Street and Berlin Street. Two homes in that area were also struck by gunfire.
The Rochester Police Department advised that as police K9 units were responding to the scene with lights and sirens activated, they were struck by a sedan that was traveling the wrong direction on a one-way street.
