Violent night in Rochester including 2 people shot, 1 stabbed, memorial turned violent


Around 9 P.M shots were fired on fourth Street striking one vehicle but no people were injured and multiple vehicles were damaged. The incident is still under investigation.


The violence started around 9:40 P.M. Thursday night when one male was shot in the foot on Jefferson Avenue near Frost Avenue who is now in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.


The third incident around 10:50 P.M. there was a large gathering with over 300 people at a vigil for a make who was shot and killed Wednesday July 22, 2020. People were throwing stuff at police and threatening officers causing officers to deploy pepper spray, arrest were made and no one was seriously hurt.


around 10:51 P.M. A person walked into Strong Memorial Hospital who says they were stabbed during the night the Rochester Police Department is still investigating the incident and will provide updates when they receive more details.


1:45 A.M Thursday morning officers responded to a person shot near Oakman Street at school number 20. Police says the victim arrived at the hospital by a private vehicle and is in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation and no suspects are in custody.
