Woman stabbed on Avenue D

On Wednesday evening the Rochester Police Department responded to a reported stabbing in the 100 block of Avenue D in Rochester, New York. As officers arrived on scene, they found a 27-year-old female with a stab wound. The female was transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in stable conditions.

Rochester Police Department advised that around 8:45pm they located the vehicle that was involved in the stabbing incident. Officers made a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of North Street and Hudson Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old male was taken into custody.

The Rochester Police Department is still investigating the incident.
